Temryuksko-Akhtarsky Block
Temryuksko-Akhtarsky Block
The Temryuksko-Akhtarsky block is located offshore on the Sea of Azov shelf in Temryuk Bay in the Krasnodar region. A joint venture, Priazovneft, has been set up to explore and develop the block. It covers an area of 5,400 square kilometres at a depth of 10 metres.
Project ownership structure:
- Rosneft – 57.5%
- Lukoil – 42.5%
In 2007, the Novaya field was discovered through the drilling of a directional prospecting and appraisal well at a structure of the same name.
325 linear km of 2D seismic work was carried out at the Temryuksko-Akhtarsky block in 2012. The results have been processed and interpreted.
